Full Day Rainforest &
Waterfall
Maui's ultimate waterfall wonderland is the
pristine Kipahulu Valley, a half-hour drive from the very Hawaiian town
of Hana.
Hike along a national park trail that follows one of the most
magnificent streams on Maui, a network of pools and cascading
waterfalls. To reach a secluded 40-foot waterfall, you will swim through
four clear pools inside a canyon dripping with ferns and hanging vines
(swimming is optional). After lunch at the top of a 200-foot waterfall,
wind through dark forests of 60-foot bamboo that lead to a 400-foot
waterfall.
Probably the best day of your vacation.
Cost: Adults $135.00
Haleakala Hike
Haleakala's subtle energy is intense and
ethereal. It's absolutely silent. Hike along a spectacular trail
overlooking the north side of Haleakala with canyons dropping 2,000 to
3,000 feet. This ridge trail has panoramic views of the ocean on one
side and the crater on the other. You will descend to the crater floor
1,600 feet along a series of well-built switchbacks. Views stretch for
miles, from cloud forests and rain forests to the alpine desert within
Haleakala itself. On the crater floor, you will pass huge slabs of lava
and bizarre rock formations. After lunch, return up the switchbacks.
Strenuous. 8 miles.
Cost: Adults $135.00
Half Day Rainforest &
Waterfall
Drive 25 miles along the historic Hana Highway, a
road famous for its lush tropical scenery and breath-taking coastline.
Your destination is a beautiful botanical garden called the Garden of
Eden. After a quick tour of manicured nature, you will descend into
wilderness -- down 250 feet on a private switchback trail carved out of
the hillside, then hike up a stream to 30- and 40-foot waterfalls with
beautiful pools -- a perfect spot for lunch and a swim.
Cost: Adults $90.00

Maui Eco Adventures |
|
One of our most popular tours, this
is a fusion of time and history. Nakalele Point is the northern most
point on Maui and is the home of the states first lighthouse. It boasts
incredible lava formations, blowholes, and turtle watching. This tour
takes you on a loop trail revealing prehistoric ravines, rugged
coastlines and poetic photo opportunities.
Nakalele/Kahakuloa Fusion
After
an hour or so at Nakalele you will then head down the road to Kahakuloa
valley. Kahakuloa is a very special place for the people who live and
work in the valley. It has been inhabited and farmed for roughly 1,500
years. The Ahupu`a (farming system) is still intact and in operation.
When arriving in the valley you will go "off road" (onto
private property) and drive a short way to where the road ends at a
suspension bridge leading to the ancient pathway. Our guides tell tales
about the valleys storied past and possibilities for the future.
Daily 8:00am-2:00pm.
Lunch is served in an open air Hale (house) overlooking the valley.
Cost: Adults $110.00
